Arrival in Lago Agrio by organized bus or plane. Land and sea transfer by pirogue to Cuyabeno Park and first discovery of the Amazon rainforest. Possible walk or swim. Dinner and overnight in the lodge.
Hiking in primary forest, observation of medicinal plants, giant trees, monkeys, birds, … Fishing for piranhas, swimming in the river, sunset on Lake Cuyabeno where soak trees “Ilapo“ are located. Possible meeting with pink dolphins. Night walk and observation of caimans. Meal, overnight in the lodge.
The sunrise ride followed by a traditional pirogue ride on Pato Cocha and Caiman Cocha lagoons. Birds and monkeys watching. Night walk in the forest to look for insects, geckos, scorpions, … Meals and overnight in the lodge.
Possible activities or free time then transfer by pirogue and land transfer to Lago Agrio. Return to Quito by bus or plane.

Possible meeting with pink dolphins or anaconda. Night ride in pirogue and observation of caimans. Dinner and overnight in the lodge.
Walk towards the Tarapuy Community, the largest ethnic group in the Reserve. On the way, bird watching, monkeys, snakes, pink dolphins, … Arrived at the spot, total immersion between culture and traditions. Elaboration of Casabe; a local dish made of cassava followed by a meeting with a Shaman. Back to the lodge and night excursion looking for insects, spiders, geckos, … Dinner and overnight in the lodge.
Visit by traditional pirogue followed by an excursion. Observation of animals and birds in the flooded forest. Dinner and overnight in the lodge.
Possible bird watching excursion or free time then transfer by pirogue and land to Lago Agrio. Return to Quito by bus or plane.
