Wecome to Peru! Your guide will pick you up from the airport and transfer you to the hotel in Lima. The Peruvian capital is a modern metropolis full of history with approximately 10 million inhabitants, which is currently undergoing an exciting process of cultural and economic changes. In option, visit the Magic Water Circuit + Dinner Show.

Breakfast at the hotel. Visit the urban area of the city of Lima, recognized by UNESCO as a “World Heritage Site“. Start the day with a panoramic tour through the historic center until you reach the Plaza de Armas, where you stop to appreciate its attractions. Then walk to the Cathedral of Lima, located in the Main Square, the most important church in Peru, built in the seventeenth century. Then, get to know Casa Aliaga, an old residence of the Viceroyalty handed over by Francisco Pizarro in 1535 to one of its captains, Jerónimo de Aliaga, after the city was founded. This house is the only one of the time that still belongs to the same family to this day. Then visit the Larco Museum, located in the traditional district of Pueblo Libre. It was founded by Rafael Larco Hoyle and is located inside a viceregal mansion built on a pre-Columbian pyramid of the 7th century. The museum has the most complete pre-Hispanic collection of gold and silver pieces, as well as erotic art. Overnight at your hotel. In option, visit the Malecon of Barranco + culinary experience.

Breakfast at the hotel and transfer to the airport of Lima. Once you have landed at the airport in Cusco, transfer to the hotel. City tour of Cusco around the attractions and services that the city has. In the afternoon, start the tour in Coricancha, also known as The Temple of the Sun, which was sent to build by the Inca Pachacutec and the arrival of the Spaniards became the basis for the construction of the Convent of Santo Domingo. Next, visit the Cathedral, the most imposing monument of the Plaza de Armas, whose construction was completed in 1654. Get to know the fortress of Sacsayhuamán, one of the emblematic buildings of the Incas, erected by the Inca Pachacútec in the 15th century. Continue to Qenqo, an archaeological site of mainly religious use, where it is believed that agricultural rituals were held, located four kilometers from the city of Cusco. Finally, get to know Puca Pucará, seven kilometers from the city. Puca Pucara, which means ‘red fortress’, was an architectural complex of supposed military use with multiple environments, plazas, baths, aqueducts, walls and towers. When finished, return to the hotel.

Breakfast at the hotel. During the morning, you are picked up from your hotel to visit the town of Chinchero, a traditional Cusco town center located at an elevated point from where you have a privileged view of the Valley. The inhabitants of this place conserve the artisanal traditions and the inherited knowledge of the Incas, which is reflected in their clothes and traditions. In Chinchero there are also archaeological remains and a beautiful church of the seventeenth century, one of the first Catholic buildings in Peru. Then, transfer from to the Living Museum of Yucay, center of interpretation of the Andean traditions, where demonstrations of the elaboration of textile work, pottery and silverware. Likewise, llamas and sheep alpacas live in the museum, which can be fed! Later, have lunch in Ollantaytambo and live an experience of superior Andean gastronomy in the Chuncho restaurant. Visit the town and local archaeological site, inhabited uninterruptedly since Inca times, and climb to the iconic fortress built next to the mountain. Finally, transfer back to the hotel. The Visits that take place on Sundays include the local market.

Breakfast at the hotel. Transfer to the Ollanta station. Your trip to Machu Picchu begins with a transfer to the Ollanta train station. Then transfer to the town of Aguas Calientes. In Aguas Calientes, there is a market of handicrafts, restaurants and accommodation. After a short trip, arrival at Machu Picchu, a masterpiece of engineering and architecture that is believed to have served as a sanctuary and resting place for the Inca Pachacutec. Machu Picchu, which means ‘Old Mountain’ and is one of the new seven wonders of the world. At the end of the tour return by bus to Aguas Calientes. Enjoy a delicious lunch. In the afternoon, return by train to the Ollanta station and transfer to your hotel in Cusco.

Breakfast at the hotel. Transferred to the bus station. Transfer by bus to Puno through the impressive landscape of the altiplano. First stop in Andahuaylillas, a town located 40 kilometers from Cusco that has the most attractive church of Andahuaylillas. Also known as ‘The Sistine Chapel of America’, due to the high quality of the pieces of art found in it. Next, you will arrive to Racchi, where the Wiracocha Temple is located, a surprising and singular rectangular construction. Lunch in Sicuani, and then you will make a brief stop in La Raya, the highest point of the road between Puno and Cusco over 4313 meters above sea level. From here, 61 kilometers from the city of Juliaca (very close to Puno already), you will reach the town of Pucará, where the Pucará Lithic Museum is located. This town was the first proper urban settlement of the lacustrine highlands. Transfer to the hotel.

Breakfast at the hotel. Transfer to the lacustrine port of Puno, where a boat will take you to the floating islands of the Uros. The Uros are an ancestral society that populates a series of artificial islands built on the basis of the totora plant, which grows in the same lake. You will reach the island of Taquile. Once there, a brief explanation of the island and you will witness a cultural activity. After lunch and start to return to Puno.

Breakfast to your hotel. End of your trip in Peru: transfer to the airport.
