Welcome to Colombia! Upon arrival at the airport you will be greeted by your guide and transferred to your hotel. Located at 2,640 meters (8,660 feet) in the Andes. Bogotá is a dynamic and modern metropole with numerous attractions, cultural events and a thriving nightlife. It is also the capital city of Colombia. The historic district can be found at La Candelaria, a pleasant quarter of cafés, churches and museums

After breakfast at your hotel, today you’ll have a whole day to explore some of the most attractive place of Bogotá. One of the places here, is the mountain of Monserrate and its church, with an astonishing view over the city (10,341 ft above the sea level). After this visit, continue exploring La Candelaria, a lovely historic quarter full of churches, renowned museums, and cafés. Grab a traditional lunch featuring some regional specialties (lunch not included). In the afternoon, visit the Gold Museum (closed on Mondays) to see the world’s largest collection of pre-Columbian gold objects. Next stop is the Botero Museum (closed on Tuesday) where, paintings and sculptures of Colombia’s most celebrated artist are exhibited with a private collection of Picasso and Braque. Overnight at the hotel.

Breakfast at your hotel. In the morning, transfer to the airport in Bogotá. Flight to Pereira, the magic Coffee Region. In the evening, free time. Overnight at your hotel.

After breakfast, transfer on the direction to Cocora Valley. With your guide, you’ll have a walk beside the Quindío River through cloud forest with grand wax palms of 230 feet all. Grab a traditional lunch, tasting some of the regional specialties, before visiting the nearby villages of Salento and Finlandia with their colorful houses and squares surrounded by terraces of cafés. Overnight at your hotel.

After breakfast, transfer to Quimbaya and a short 4×4 trip to the nearby pier of La Vieja River. Then, raft down the river on an 11 miles course. A traditional lunch of sliced meats wrapped in banana leaves waiting for you. In the afternoon, continue your visit to Finca Casa Vieja. Here, you’ll have a specialized tour through the coffee plantations to learn all about the production and harvesting process. Walk through its fruit gardens and taste many local fruits. Return to your hotel in the afternoon and free time.

After breakfast, transfer to Pereira airport ant flight to Medellín! you’ll be transferred to your hotel. Enjoy the rest of the afternoon and evening exploring El Poblado, a tourist area recognized by its restaurants and a good place to take a drink.

After breakfast, visit the city and its modern history. Medellín – the City of Eternal Spring. Explore the city visiting the Pueblito Paisa and enjoy perfect views over the city. Explore the famous Botero Plaza with an exhibition of Fernando Botero a Colombian artist. Take the Metro Cable up to Santo Domingo. In the Comuna 13 district with its unique Electric Escalators you’ll observe another innovative project that improved the life quality of the people of Medellín. Free time in the evening.

Breakfast. Your day trip starts for a visit of the flower village Santa Elena and a tour to the famous Peñol Rock in Guatapé. Start the day in the small village of Santa Elena, which is located in the mountains of Antioquia. Visit the area where the well-known floral arrangements, the famous symbol of Medellín. Travel through the green hills to the Peñol Rock in Guatapé, known as one of the most spectacular destinations. Enjoy the local food and the spectacular views over green mountains and blue lakes. Guatapé is famous for its colorful paintings decorating the houses of the village.

After your breakfast, transfer to Medellín’s airport and flight to Cartagena! Transfer to your hotel in the Historical Center and visit of the city. As part of your tour, visit of the famous colonial buildings like the monastery of San Pedro Claver and the Basilica Minor cathedral. Overnight at your hotel.

Explore the Gastronomy of the city, with different secret points between fruit stands, vegetables, herbs and spices, milk products, fishes, seafood, and traditional kitchen equipment. Then head to Ohlala Bistrot and taste a traditional breakfast (Arepas de Huevo) or other options. Then, using the ingredients bought earlier, you’ll take a cooking class! Discover the exotic, rich flavors that comprise Caribbean cuisine. During the afternoon, explore two places into the city’s past: La Popa Monastery and San Felipe Castle. Both were strategic sites used to defend Cartagena against pirates and the conquistadors of colonial times. Overnight at your hotel.

Breakfast at the hotel and transfer to the pier of Cartagena and sail to Islas del Rosario. The Isla Grande, an hour’s boat from Cartagena, is the best option for a Caribbean day! You can spend your time of idleness or kayak rides through the mangroves (optional), and taste of a delicious grilled lobster for your lunch! Return to Cartagena in the afternoon. Overnight at your hotel.

End of your trip in Colombia. After breakfast, join a private transfer to Cartagena airport and flight back
